How to get the old control panel into a new metro startup screen in windows 8

As many of people who have installed the new generation of Microsoft’s windows operating system, the windows 8, now like to add old control panel to the new metro startup screen in windows 8. But the matter of the fact is that there is no such by default access to the old control panel in Microsoft new generation of windows operating system, the Windows 8. But in order to get the old control panel to the new metro start up screen in windows 8 you have to go through the new metro control panel or you have to switch over to the explorer. Here we have compiled a tutorial for you to find how to add the old control panel to the new metro startup screen in the windows 8. Getting Old Control Panel Back Into Windows 8

1)In order to get started with this process, you need to create a shortcut. So, in order to create the shortcut, you need to right click on your desktop screen, and then select new shortcut option. The same process has been shown in the below screen shot for your convenience.

2) After this, you need to type the following command when you are asked for the location of the item or shortcut you have just created.  Same has been also shown in the below screenshot, as highlighted red in the circle.

Now you need to assign a new name for your shortcut you have just created. Screen shot suggesting the same for your convenience.

3)Now, you have to right click on your new short and then select the properties from the context menu. Same has been highlighted red circle in the below screen shot.

4) So, when the dialog box opens, you just need to click on the button “change icon”. Below Screenshot suggesting the same for your convenience.

5)You need to paste the following item right into the textbox. Screenshot is attached for your convenience showing highlighted red in the circle.

“%SystemRoot%\system32\SHELL32.dll”

6)Now, you have to choose an icon on behalf of control panel. After selecting the same you need to press ok button appearing on your screen. The same has been highlighted red in the circle in the below mentioned screenshot.

7)Lastly, you need to right clock on your new shortcut and just select “pin to start” from the context menu. This would be for your own convenience and ease. I have enclosed a screen shot with highlighted red circle for your convenience.
